Join Amelie for 90 minute Yin Yoga and deep relaxation (Yoga Nidra) workshop.
The first part of the class will be a Yin yoga sequence. Yin Yoga is a slow, mindful practice during which floor-based poses are passively held for 3-5 minutes. Yin is an introspective practice that offers a chance to turn inward and nurture the calm, quiet center that is innate in all of us. Beautiful poems and short texts will be shared in some poses.
The second part of the class is devoted to
Yoga nidra or yogic sleep which is a state of consciousness between waking and sleeping, like the "going-to-sleep" stage, induced by a guided meditation. There is evidence that yoga nidra helps relieve stress.
The session will end with a brief meditation to clear the mind.
By the end of the workshop you will feel deeply nourished, relaxed and restored.
